EasyTest

Scanner for Wiring Harness and PCBs

Basic system for continuity test (also detecting diodes) in Wiring Harnesses and PCBs

Flexibility, easy to setup and operate makes it ideal for small production lots, pilots lots and engineering or quality analysis.

Easily check the connections in a Wiring Harness or PCB connecting it to our 64 Points Interface board that together with a Dedicated USB Adapter communicates to the Easy Test software in your computer

The output is an list of connections where you can add your data as connector and terminal names as well as comments related to wire color or the description of signal that it cares.

This connections list can be saved and later can be used to compare with other harnesses using the special function in the EasyTest software where it shows the Error list when the tested Harness or PCB is different from the one saved previously

This System consists of:

  • Interface board with 64 testing points (each wire requires 2 points) that can be connected to more boards expanding the system up to 1000 testing points.
  • Dedicated USB Adapter Cable
  • Software EasyTest

The Interface board operates with 5 volts DC TTL compatible and the Power Supply is done by 6 to 12 VDC 2A.

Software Details

1 – Connection of your computer via USB to the interface board, it recognizes the USB adapter and the interface board showing how many boards/test points are connected.

2 – This is an special function which when using a probe connected in +5V in the Interface Board and touching any test point (or in the pins of jigs in the bench) the system identify which test point is that and also select the row related to that test point in the table showed in #3.

3 – All test points from the Interface Board that were found by the system, it is possible to edit the Connector and Terminal names according to your Harness being test, this names will be showed when the wiring harness is scanned and/or compared

4/5- Table (#5) where is shown the harness that were scanned connected to the Interface board, it is possible to export the scanned data to a CSV file (#4). Also this table shows the results when the scanned harness is compared to a previously saved CSV file (#6) with the correct connections that should be in the wiring harness.

6 – Table where it is possible to load a CSV file to be used as reference to compare a scanned harness.
